Matt James could perhaps be one of the most adored bachelors on 'The Bachelor' as he seems to have gathered the attention of not just his 32 suitresses, but the majority of Bachelor Nation fans. However, something he did soon after meeting all the single ladies seems to have put fans off and here's what happened.

After meeting each of his potential suitresses, James is guided to the waiting room by Chris Harrison, where all the ladies are seen waiting eagerly to meet their future husband. While the suitresses waited to experience romance and chemistry with James, he takes a moment to pray and asks all the ladies to join him in the same.

Of course, this gesture was praised immensely by many of the ladies, who couldn't stop raving about him being a "god man". A few noted that he couldn't have started off on a better note than in the name of the god himself.

Never had anyone pulled such a stunt on Bachelor Nation before and what James did left many wondering if he made the right choice by bringing god in on a reality show that's highly sensational. Soon several people took to Twitter to comment on James' action.

One user tweeted, "I still don’t understand how we got from vibrators and a half-naked girl to a group prayer and now back to vibrators again??? #thebachelor" Another added, "Maybe I’m bias because I’m not religious, but the prayer looked more like a performance than genuine. #TheBachelor" One tweeted, "...was it a prayer? Was it a toast? Was it is speech? No one is on the same page here #TheBachelor" A tweet read, "Don’t bring god into this fornication-fest! #TheBachelor"

Season 25 of 'The Bachelor' couldn't have gotten more sensational as the ladies put their rather bizarre skills on display to impress James. While one of them got him a silicone vibrator as a present, another showed up in lingerie, asking him to pick her outfit. Only time will tell if James' intentions to find true love remain the same or if he flinches with the distractions.

'The Bachelor' airs on Mondays on ABC at 8 pm ET.
