Hulu's 'The Act' Season 1: Release date, cast, plot and everything you need to know

Joey King, who last appeared in 'Kissing Booth,' is all set to appear on her new show, 'The Act', to be aired on Hulu. The show is a seasonal anthology based on true events which were reported by Michelle Dean for Buzzfeed News in 2016.

Joey will play the role of Gypsy Blanchard, a woman who has been using a wheelchair all her life, in the show, with her mother Dee Dee being played by Patricia Arquette.

The show is co-written by Dean, who wrote the original piece titled 'Dee Dee Wanted Her Daughter To Be Sick, Gypsy Wanted Her Mom Murdered,' and Nick Antosca.
