'The 100' Season 7 Episode 12: Clarke-Bellamy scene gets fans emotional, but they're mad he didn't cry for Echo

While we don't know if Bellamy will ever go back to his friends with the right state of mind, him doing this to them is utterly unfair, especially after all that they've done for him

Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 12 'The Stranger'

It has been ages since we've been waiting for a Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) and Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) aka #Bellarke scene and let's just say that while fans hate Bellamy right now, that scene brought up too many emotions. After Echo (Tasya Teles) was unable to get Bellamy out of his madness, many thought Clarke would be able to do so. Unfortunately, all that happened was Bellamy begging Clarke to believe in him because of his experience with the Disciple in the cave where he saw his mother. They were both crying and arguing and to be fair, it was quite heartbreaking.

"Clarke crying is heartbreaking. I just can't take it.  #The100," tweeted a fan with another adding, "My heart won't stop pounding I swear I am an emotional wreck bc of this damn episode #The100 #Bellarke."

"#The100 the bellarke scene with Bellamy and Clarke both yelling and crying had me sobbing my eyes out this is more than I can take," said another fan.

Some even noticed how while talking to Echo, Bellamy did not shed a tear. For Clarke though, it seems he put more effort into that conversation, more effort into explaining himself, and of course was hurt enough to cry. "The fact that he opened up to Clarke about what he experienced and was in tears while talking to her but literally told echoke the cause meant more to him then their relationship is so f***ing funny to me. #The100," said one fan.

Another added, "Bellamy tears up when Clarke is arguing with him but stays emotionless when Echo is #the100." Yet another fan tweeted, "Its the fact that bellamy was literally emotionless talking to his former girlfriend, ECHO and was basically in tears talking to his 'platonic soulmate' Clarke for me #the100."

Either way, while we don't know if Bellamy will ever go back to his friends with the right state of mind, him doing this to them is utterly unfair especially after all that they have done for him. "Clarke wanted Bellamy to see her suffer and he tried to protect her I'M CRYING #The100," tweeted one fan, another added, "IM SHAKING F**K MY LIFE BELLARKE EVERYWHERE IM DYING AND CRYING #The100."

'The 100' airs on Wednesday nights at 8/7c on The CW.
