'The 100' Season 7 Episode 10 Preview: Sheidheda and Cadogan primed to emege victorious, what comes next?

The description for this week's episode is quite vague. It simply states:'Sheidheda makes his move; a disciple goes rogue'

It has been a while since the last episode of The CW's 'The 100' aired, but this week the show returns after its midseason break. The tenth episode of the seventh and final season will see the stories in both Sanctum and Bardo progressing. Let's recap what went down in both places before we head into this week's episode.

In Sanctum, after a very messy Reunification ceremony arranged by Emori (Luisa D'Oliveira), Sheidheda (in Russell's body, played by JR Bourne, also known as Russheda) conspired with the Eligius prisoners led by Nikki (Alaina Huffman) and the Children of Gabriel led by Nelson (Lee Majdoub), to take over Sanctum. Nikki's real target was Raven Reyes (Lindsey Morgan), who before going on a planet-hopping adventure kind of sacrifices four of the Eligius prisoners, including Nikki's husband. She did, however, hold Emori at gunpoint as a pained John Murphy (Richard Harmon) watched on.

However, Indra (Adina Porter) came bursting in just on time to save the day. Unfortunately, for some unlikely reason, Indra chose to keep Sheidheda with the Faithful and he went on a bloody rampage. By the time Murphy realized what was happening, Sheidheda had slaughtered many of them. Unfortunately, Murphy made the mistake of calling him Sheidheda, leading to some of WonKru soldiers kneeling to him.

Meanwhile, Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor), Raven, Jordan Green (Shannon Kook), Nathan Miller (Jarod Joseph), and Niylah (Jessica Harmon), had made it to Bardo. After hearing Bill Cadogan's (John Pyper-Ferguson) story, Clarke asks for her friends, only to be shocked when three of the Disciple soldiers take off their helmets to reveal they were Octavia Blake (Marie Avgeropoulos), Echo (Tasya Teles), and Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic). Cadogan believes that Clarke has the Key -- which is the Flame, which he still believes is in Clarke's head.

We had seen Echo be the first one to say that she would fight in the Disciples' "last war" as Octavia and Diyoza followed along. Hope Diyoza (Shelby Flannery), took more convincing and even then, she was bound to her hatred of the Disciples, failing the final test and being sentenced to 20 years on Bardo.

That Cadogan does not know that Clarke does not have the Flame anymore is all the more reason to believe that Octavia, Echo, Diyoza, and even Gabriel Santiago (Chuku Modu) have not gone full Disciple yet. But that may just be to protect Clarke. We don't know yet what's to come on Bardo with respect to the last war.

The description for this week's episode is quite vague. It simply states: "Sheidheda makes his move; a disciple goes rogue." However, it does give us the idea that there will be a significant Sanctum storyline again. Last time we were on Sanctum, we saw Sheidheda finally revealing his true identity and killing all of the Faithful. When some of WonKru found out because of Murphy's slip, they even knelt to him. The episode could also bring about yet another Sheidheda-Murphy showdown.

The promo for the episode also suggests that the disciple who has gone rogue could be Levitt (Jason Diaz), whom we saw getting romantically involved with Octavia. A shot in the promo shows Levitt tied up and bloody while screaming in pain. We hope that Levitt comes out safe in the next episode.

Finally, we also see a shot of Hope crying out for her mother, held back by Octavia and Clarke. This was a shot that featured in the season's trailer as well. By the look on their faces, we are afraid that a character, specifically Diyoza, could die. It has been a long time coming and being the final season, we are sure there will be some serious casualties.

'The 100' airs on The CW on Wednesday nights at 8/7c. Watch the promo for this week's episode below.
