‘Teen Mom 2’: Why didn’t Briana wait for Brittany before she met their brother Kevin? Internet says 'it's rude'
On the January 19 episode of ‘Tenn Mom 2: Briana’s Family Secret’, Briana DeJesus discovered she had a 14-year-old half-brother. Briana’s dad had kept it a secret from Briana and her family and it was only recently that Brianna got a call from an unknown person informing her about it.
A viewer wrote, “so we know that Briana doesn’t usually candy coat things. But I can’t imagine how she felt when she got that DM about having a brother! Like her heart had to almost feel like it was being ripped out of her chest!” When things between Briana’s mother Roxanne and her father went downhill, Roxanne decided to go separate ways. While she raised both her daughters, her father lived a secret life when he had another kid who is Briana’s half-brother Kevin. Briana and her sister Brittany decided to meet him but Brittany was going to Korea with her friends for a month and she made Briana promise that she woukdn't meet their brother without her.

Briana, however, took the next flight to New York (where Kevin was) and decided to meet him all by himself. But before that, she had a little girls night out with her friends and revealed that her father has stopped talking to her and has even blocked her after he found out Briana and Kevin knew about each other’s existence and were talking to each other.
Briana was nervous about meeting Kevin who requested not to be filmed. They apparently had a good time and Briana also got to meet Kevin’s sister and other cousins. When Brittany returned from her trip she was not happy about Briana going to meet Kevin alone.
She said for the first time she felt like she was adopted and Briana was her half-sister. Brittany broke down and Briana told her she was acting selfishly. Brittany said she didn’t want to meet Kevin anymore and she was deeply upset about Briana going to meet him behind her back. A viewer wrote, “It’s pretty obvious Brianna is in the wrong. It was rude of her to not wait for Brittany.” “Brittany is definitely right in this situation. Her feelings matter too. Briana should have waited or at least called her while there to include her in the visit,” said another viewer.

However, they went to New York again to film for the reunion and Brittany said she was conflicted about meeting Kevin. Kevin, however, didn’t want to film for the reunion and the sisters were too busy to meet him outside of filming. Briana said she would have stayed one extra day just to meet Kevin but she had to come back to take Nova to gymnastics class.
