'Temptation Island' season 2: Fans think Rick has already started to lay the groundwork to leave Ashley

Coming on Temptation Island, Ashley hopes that this will bring their relationship more clarity. But, by the looks of episode 1, it seems like Rick is ready to play it as he wants to.

'Temptation Island' season 2 might have recently premiered, but fans speculate one couple's relationship is already on the rocks. And that is none other than Ashley Goldson and Rick. 

When the series premiered on October 10 we witnessed the four couples arrive on the island all ready to put their relationship to the test with 24 singles ready to pounce and tempt them. 

The four couples are - Esonica and Gavin, Ashley H and Casey, Ashley G and Rick and, Kate and David. Though fans are pretty much rooting for all couples, based on the turn out of episode 1, most speculate that Rick is all ready to leave Ashley G and has already begun the groundwork for it. 

The couple had been dating for almost five years, with a one and half year break in between after Ashley G found out that Rick was cheating on her. Though he denied it on the show, she ended up getting back together with him. Ashley G is totally clear with what she wants and that's a ring on her hand. But Rick, on the other hand, is a commitmentphobe. 

Coming on Temptation Island, she hopes that this will bring their relationship more clarity. But, by the looks of episode 1, it looks like Rick is in no mood to give Ashley what she wants. During the initial mixer with the single women, Rick was already seen flirting with three women. Ashely G, on the other hand, gets hit on by KB and Jose.

During the couple's final dinner, Ashley G is confident that Rick is ready to fool around with the other women. Taking to Twitter post the episode, fans reveal that Ashely G doesn't deserve Rick because he is clearly not into her and is blaming her if he cheats on the series because she brought him to the island. 

"Rick can't wait to cheat and blame Ashley for "this being your idea" #temptationisland," wrote a fan on Twitter. Adding to that another said, "Rick is very questionable to me... “He says this is your idea to be here” so maybe if he falls into temptation he can reverse this all on Ashley saying well you wanted us here!? Hmm, just my thought for now. We shall see.. #TemptationIsland." 

"As you can see, Rick is already laying down the groundwork to leave Ashley. #TemptationIsland #TemptationIslandUSA," wrote a fan. While another added, "Rick keeps using the fact that this was Ashley’s idea to give himself some type of mental pass. #TemptationIsland."
