'Teen Mom OG': Josh says he wants to work on the marriage and not get a divorce, Mackenzie wonders 'why now?'
Mackenzie McKee and Josh McKee's relationship had a fallout when he confessed that he wasn't faithful in the relationship. Hearing those words from Josh's mouth broke Mackenzie down as she was hoping that the things she read on the internet were a lie.
Mackenzie started questioning if their relationship was real as she wanted to build a marriage just like her parents but after hearing what Josh had done, all those times when she wanted to split started clouding her mind. She ultimately decided against filing for a divorce as she believed that she did a mistake by marrying Josh in the first place.
While her sister advised her to wait it out, Mackenzie took matters in her hands and gave Josh the divorce papers. However, he refused to sign them. He later decided to come down to their house and have a chat with her about what had happened. Josh questioned what made Mackenzie send the divorce papers. It is then that she confessed her feelings and spoke about all the times when they had a conversation about splitting. However, Josh knew that divorce was not something he wanted to do. He requested Mackenzie to give him one more chance to mend the things that he did wrong.
While he knew that things could go back to normal, Mackenzie wondered what they could do to help save the marriage. Josh suggested they go for counseling and couples' retreat. While Mackenzie refused to answer right away, she decided to talk to her friends and sister about it.
Her friends tried to explain to her that Josh seemed to be a changed man as he was taking the initiative of saving the marriage rather than packing his bags and leaving the family. Later, when Mackenzie was talking to her sister on the phone, she was surprised with a bouquet of roses and she found out that they were from Josh.
Among that bouquet was a note where Josh asked Mackenzie to marry him again. Seeing the efforts he was putting in, Mackenzie agreed to go to the couples' retreat and try to work things out but will a retreat be enough to save their marriage?
