Amber Portwood and  Andrew Glennon's separation made headlines after she was accused of domestic violence. There were videos and audios of their fight that were released for the world to see and ever since then, Amber had been struggling to keep calm about what happened.

While Amber had been strong-headed regarding everything that involved Andrew, one thing that made her crumble down was her love for their son, James. Amid all this, the only thing that Amber thought about was her son.

She broke down crying when she found out that Andrew had filed for James' custody and was planning on moving to California with him. Speaking to the producer, David, Amber explained that she would not let Andrew take James away from her.

She added that fighting for her child's custody was slowly taking a toll on her mental health. She confessed that she had lost 9lbs ever since the entire incident took place while adding that her psychiatrist asked her if she was having any thoughts about killing herself. Amber admitted that she had some rough times and she chose to call her ex-husband Gary Shirley as he always knew the right words to say.

Later in the episode, Gary revealed that Amber had called him saying that she had suicidal thoughts because she was finding it hard to deal with everything that was going on. Gary explained to her how important it was for her to stay strong. Mostly, for her children, James and Leah. Leah is Gary and Amber's daughter and Amber has always been there for her.

While talking to his wife, Kristina Shirley, Gary revealed that Amber has been dealing with a lot. Hearing this, Kristina said she felt like crying and that one should be there for Amber, especially during a time when she is so vulnerable.

Gary understood what Kristina was saying and agreed to stand by Amber's side as she tried to make sense of everything. Amber revealed that she had asked her lawyers to file against Andrew taking their son to California. While there has been no reply yet, it seems like Amber has been losing her faith in this fight.

'Teen Mom OG' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
