'Teen Mom 2': Cole steps in to take Aubree for her father-daughter dance, fans hail him as 'best stepdad'

Cole DeBoer decides to take Aubree for her dance after she refuses to go with her father Adam Lind, and the two even make some great memories together

Chelsea Houska has always tried to have her ex-boyfriend Adam Lind in daughter Aubree's life, but things did not go the way she had imagined. Aubree had been excited about her father-daughter dance and was willing to have Adam with her. However, when Chelsea asked her about it, she seemed to have changed her mind. 

She was quick to say that she did not want to go to the dance with Adam. Hearing this, Chelsea did not want to put Aubree in a position that she was not interested in. She asked Aubree if Cole DeBoer could go to the dance with her instead and was not surprised when she said yes. Cole and Aubree have managed to form a bond that is unlike any other. 

While Chelsea was happy he was there to step in, she wondered what had changed. Speaking to Cole, Chelsea admitted it was weird to hear Aubrey change her mind about going to the dance. She wondered if Aubree was feeling conflicted about what is the right thing to do. Even though there were a lot of questions in her mind, she knew the best thing to do was be there for her as she gets ready for the dance. 

To make Aubree feel special, Cole decided to go to a nail salon with her. He assured her that the only reason he was getting the nails done was her. The two had a gala time and seemed to form memories. Once they reached home, they got dressed and clicked many pictures to capture the moment. Cole promised to take Aubree on the dance every time she wanted. Once they were back, the pair described how the dance had been and Chelsea was happy to see that Aubree had a nice time. Speaking to the camera, Chelsea admitted she often forgets Cole is not Aubree's biological father. 

Despite this, she was happy to know there was a father figure for her. Fans too fell in love with Cole for he stepped in to go to the dance. "I'm still crying that Aubrey just called Cole, Dad! @ChelseaHouska oh, my heart. Cole is seriously the best," read one comment.

Another added, "Cole is the best stepdad ever!" One said, "Cole and Chelsea are my OTP. Everyone needs a Cole in their life." Another said, "Every man should learn how to act like cole."
