‘Teen Mom 2’: Most hated Brianna DeJesus wants Nova to be with father, why is his roommate making her uncomfortable?

On the December 15 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2’ Briana DeJesus talked to her mom and sister about Devoin and the fact that he should take more responsibility and do some daily chores. Earlier when Briana asked Devoin to pay child support for their daughter he refused saying she has enough money on her own and shamed her for having procedures done on her body saying, “You had money for your $15,000 body.” He later apologized to her at Nova’s birthday party. 

She said Devoin needed to step up and take more responsibility and be involved in Nova’s life. Her sister Brittany supported her saying the girls needed more than what their mom, grandma and aunt was providing. Supporting Briana, a viewer wrote on Twitter, “Yep. I totally agree with you briana your baby daddies need to step up. Bcus their not doing their dad duties. If he doesn't want to do his part then it's time for the next step.#TeenMom2 some of these dad's I swear!!!”

Her mother however advised her to take baby steps like asking Devoin to pick Nova up from school and dropping her off at the gymnastic school. She further said since Devoin is “roomating” Briana can’t just throw her kid to stay with him. Briana said Nova is her kid and she was going to do what she felt was right. She then confessed to the camera that she hoped Devoin pulled through and Nova was able to spend time with her dad because Briana had been busy with her job.

A viewer commented on instagram, “I agree with Brianna’s mom on this one. Devoin is her Dad and Nova deserves to spend time with him but if he’s got a living situation with a lot of random people, walking in and out, it’s not a safe situation for a child.” Another wrote, “Roommates in and out of the house with the dad could be a bad situation for abuse of the child or exposing them to things they shouldn’t see.”

Briana met Devoin later and told him about the situation and if he would be willing to take care of Nova over the weekend. Surprisingly the conversation went very smoothly as Devoin agreed instantly and the duo didn’t get into another nasty fight. But later when Briana asked Nova if she felt comfortable going over to her Dad’s and staying there over the weekend she said that Devon's flatmate made her a little uncomfortable. Briana said she shouldn’t go if anything made her uncomfortable. 

Even though viewers of the show are often irritated by Briana, they were very proud of the conversation the mother and daughter had. Briana confessed to the camera that she was raised by a single mother and doesn’t know what spending time with a father was like. “I don’t care for Bri but I respect the conversation. If my baby isn’t comfortable somewhere, HE’S NOT GOING. PERIOD,” wrote a viewer on twitter.
