'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' surpasses Tom Crusie and Harrison Ford's releases
According to Variety 'The Eras Tour movie is the 11th-biggest release of 2023 in North America, exceeding the box office collection of Tom Cruises 'Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One ($172 million) and Harrison Ford's 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny' ($174 million).
The trend continued globally, making it the 19th highest-grossing release of 2023 worldwide, beating 'Sound of Freedom' ($248 million) and 'Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves' ($208 million).

'Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour' is one of its kind
The movie was notable for many other unconventional methods Swift took.
First, the singer chose AMC Theatres to distribute the movie instead of a major studio. Secondly, the movie played in theaters on Thursdays through Sundays only.
Another unique factor of the film was its relatively higher expense than an average movie. The adult ticket price was $19.89, referring to her birth year and 2014 album.
At the same time, ticket costs for children and seniors were $13.13, a nod to her lucky number.
