Taylor Swift has just dropped another remix rendition for 'Willow', dubbed as the 'Lonely Witch Remix'. Swift took to her social media accounts on December 14 to reveal the latest version of 'Willow', the lead single from her critically-acclaimed album 'Evermore' which released on December 11.

"Witches be like 'Sometimes I just want to listen to music while pining away/sulking/staring out a window'," Swift wrote in the caption for a dreamy photo of the singer. "It’s me. I’m witches. Never fear, the 'willow lonely witch remix' is here," Swift added. Check out her announcement below.

Swift's announcement has drawn a flood of comments of a witchy talk by fans on Twitter. "It was the broom for me #willow," said a fan with screenshots of the 'Willow' video to which another replied, "There is a cauldron in the cardigan video. And she started showing black cats back in rep era."

One fan wrote, "Witches be like... We Love u Taylor!!" "Since we're in the witches talk what about a no body, no crime/ I did something bad remix for the next tour??? GIRLIE IMAGINE THE SERVE," shared a fan. One fan added of the new version, "beautiful version, it giving me cozy feelings like snuggling under a thick blanket with a mug of hot chocolate during a cold night."

Swift's announcement also drew the attention of Luna Shadows, singer-writer and touring member of the New Zealand synth-pop band The Naked and Famous. "Together we are witches on many playlists this week. in addition to being a witch, i’m a producer, if you’d need any more witchy remixes," Shadows wrote.

The new version of 'Willow' follows a previous remix rendition presented as a 'Dancing Witch Version'. Swift surprise-released it on her birthday. "Not to be all ‘iTs mY BiRtHdAY & I jUsT wAnNa DaNcE’ but... it is and I do," she wrote on social media, along with a link to the song. She added, "So here’s the willow dancing witch version, remixed by Elvira, a bad ass female producer I really respect."

Swift has had a busy 2020 frequently dropping new material for fans. 'Evermore' was a surprise release and arrived just a few months after her chart-topping eighth studio album 'Folklore'. The singer sent her fans into a frenzy when she surprise dropped an EP version of 'Folklore' out of nowhere. If we are to hazard a guess, judging by the output of Swift's releases in 2020 and her latest 'Willow' remixes, we might be getting similar content for 'Evermore'.
