'So You Think You Can Dance' season 16 came to an end on Monday night after the series crowned Bailey Munoz winner. But that wasn't the only highlight of the series, as they brought back fan-favorite Phoebe Kochis to perform for one last time on the stage.

It was an eventful season, and some fans also claim that this was the best season yet. The final four left vying for the title were Gino Cosculluela, Bailey Munoz, Sophie Pittman and Mariah Russell. Sophie came in fourth and Gino landed the third place. With Bailey being crowned the winner this season, Mariah came in as the runner up this season. Bailey is also the first B-Boy to win the series.

Though his win was the biggest highlight of Monday night's two-hour finale episode, there was another performance that stole the spotlight. Phoebe Kochis, a young dancer who suffers from Down Syndrome, had wowed the judges and the audiences with her audition. Her confidence throughout her routine had broken all disability stereotypes and had gained her a lot of fans and well-wishers.

Since she wasn't as big a professional dancer as other regular contestants, Nigel Lythgoe gave her a ticket to Camp, revealing that she will not be able to perform and compete like other contestants, but invited her to come as a guest to learn and enjoy herself. And now for the finale, the series brought back Phoebe who performed a stunning routine to Taylor Swift's 'Me'. Seeing Phoebe back on the SYTYCD stage, fans were filled with joy and appreciation for the series and Nigel for bringing her back for the finale.

Taking to Twitter, a fan said, "Good Job Phoebe and to @dizzyfeet for keeping his word to this young lady. She shines as a dancer and young woman who lets her light shine. ME it’s was perfect.#SYTYCD."

While another added, "Love her sparkle and sweetness—Phoebe a fearless, adorable young lady who loves the spotlight. Thanks @dizzyfeet and @DANCEonFOX for giving Phoebe her showcase."

"It's things like this that make me love this show so damn much. The positivity and joy that this show and these judges bring is unmatched by anything else on television today. Thank you @DANCEonFOX and @dizzyfeet!!" wrote another fan.
