'Survive': Release date, plot, cast, trailer and everything else about Sophie Turner's upcoming Quibi show
'Survive' starring Sophie Turner and Corey Hawkins is one of the tens of shows that will be launched on Quibi, which aims to reinvent content consumption by delivering bite-sized shows that are between 10-15 minutes per episode.

'Survive' will be available for the audience from the day of the streaming platform's launch on April 6.
Plot:
The show is based on Alex Morel’s novel of the same name. The book's official synopsis reads "Jane is on a plane on her way home to Montclair, New Jersey, from a mental hospital. She is about to kill herself. Just before she can swallow a lethal dose of pills, the plane hits turbulence and everything goes black. Jane wakes up amidst piles of wreckage and charred bodies on a snowy mountaintop. There is only one other survivor: a boy named Paul, who inspires Jane to want to fight for her life for the first time. Jane and Paul scale icy slopes and huddle together for warmth at night, forging an intense emotional bond. But the wilderness is a vast and lethal force, and only one of them will survive."
From the looks of the trailer, the show seems to follow the plot of the book closely and it would be interesting to see who survives.

Sophie Turner:
The 'Game of Thrones' star will play the role of Jane on the show, who is one of the two survivors of a plane crash. From the looks of the trailer, Jane seems to be recovering from some kind of mental trauma related to drugs and the plane crash occurs while she is on her way back home after treatment for the same.
Corey Hawkins:
Actor Corey Hawkins plays the role of Paul on the show and he is a fellow passenger in Jane's plane. Coincidentally, he happens to be the other survivor and Jane would come to depend on him and vice versa for the two of them to get out of the situation alive.
Other cast members include Caroline Goodall, Jo Stone-Fewings and Ivars Auzins.

The trailer of 'Survive' underlines how removed Jane is from wanting to survive a plane crash. She even tells Paul to leave, but Paul sticks around in the middle of nowhere, a snow-capped region where the plane crashed and with only two of them having survived. The trailer also shows how Paul slips and falls into nothingness while climbing some kind of mountain and ends with Jane's shocked expression and we cannot wait to see if he makes it out or if Jane must do it all by herself.
