ABC’s ‘Supermarket Sweep’ is a reboot of the '60s classic game show that follows three pairs where they battle it out using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes.

For the latest episode on ‘Supermarket Sweep’, there's Team Sticky Rice with Philippino couple Kat and Lee (married for 13 years). While Lee shows off his martial arts moves to host Leslie Jones, they say that they chose the name sticky rice because they eat sticky rice every day and interestingly, their marriage is also like sticky rice, the two are always together.

Then there is Team Honey with Jasmine and Maria. Both have two children each. Team Baking Brothers has Steve and Jeff. Jeff is a professional baker and the brothers say that they baked for the first time in 4th grade when they made an apple pie for their school project. Jeff realized he could make a living out of baking while Steve realized he is better off eating.

The first round begins with team members Kat, Steve and Jasmine with a smaller sweep, where the first name of a celeb is the last name of a product. For example, ‘This '90s rap artist and a brand of mints’ have a similar name and the image of rapper Vanilla Ice showed up on the screen, the correct name of the product was ‘Vanilla Ice Breakers’. Another example is, this ‘curb your enthusiasm’ actor and a brand of roasted and salted snacks, the answer to which was ‘Larry David Sunflower Seeds’.

The second round was to guess ‘Food Facts’, for example, what was the original name of Cheerios? The options given to the contestants were ‘Terrificos’, ‘Cherrioats’ and ‘Happy-o’s’. The correct answer was ‘Cherrioats’. The third round was called ‘Scrambled eggs’ where the contestants were given scrambled letters or mismatched letters and they have to make sense out of it. The first set of mismatched letters was 'ELKSAT’ and the clue was it’s a Jewish hash brown, the answer to which was ‘Latkes’.

Team Baking Brothers did really well in all of the rounds and Leslie started having high expectations from them. After the big sweep the total points of each team was as follows — ‘Team Baking Brothers’ was leading with 4,340 points, ‘Team Sticky Rice’ and ‘Team Honey’ had 3,868 and 2,218 points respectively.

Team Baking Brothers got through the final round and their big sweep to get $100,000 started with the riddle: “Dropped some wedding cake on your new bride? Wash the mess off her dress with a capful of ---." The correct answer was ‘Tide’ which The Baking Brothers were quick to guess and fetch from the supermarket, which led to another clue and then another and they won $50,000. But it all came crashing down when they failed to guess the final riddle and they lost all of the money. They went home with $4340, the points that they originally won.
