ABC’s ‘Supermarket Sweep’ is a reboot of the '60s classic game show that follows three pairs where they battle it out using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes.

For the latest episode on ‘Supermarket Sweep’, there's Team PB and J, Team Cereal and Team French Fries. The show progressed with these three teams of two members each coming together and putting their grocery shopping skills to use.

The initial gaming rounds began with mini sweeps, like the pattern of the show goes, where each team member has to use their talent in guessing names of brands and grocery items through riddles. It can go from guessing "food facts" where one needs to know which items in certain flavours does not exist to guessing products through celebrity names.

There is also a game where the teams were given riddles and clues in the form of one or two random letters that the word (that is the correct answer) consists of. By the end of the mini sweeps, Team Cereal gained the maximum points giving them a heads up in the bigger sweep. The three teams got ready for the big sweep keeping its viewers on the edge of their seat.

The big sweep round is the most fast-paced thrill and exciting part of the show as we saw teams running around in haste from one aisle to another, falling, tripping and frantically searching for the items that will get one of the teams to the final round. Well, in this case it was Team Cereal as they managed to secure a whooping 4218 points.

The duo confidently moved on to the final round guessing the first three riddles within seconds securing them $25,000. At this point, host Leslie asked them if they would want to play on or cash out with the money they won. After an initial hesitation, the duo decided to play on and that was probably not the right decision as they failed to answer the last riddle.

The riddle was, “In Italy, they don’t drink these juice pouches under the sicilian moon… They drink them under the ---,” the answer to which was, ‘Capri Sun’. The team lost the prize money they won during the last sweep and went home with $4218, the points that they won previously.
