ABC’s ‘Supermarket Sweep’ is a reboot of the '60s classic game show that follows three pairs of contestants who battle it out using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes.

For the latest episode on ‘Supermarket Sweep’, there was Team Peach with mother-daughter duo Krystyna and Karoyl. Host Leslie Jones quickly pointed out Krystyna’s complicated spelling of her name saying, “I know a lot of Christiana’s in my life but no one has that spelling.” Team Dill consisted of mother and daughter duo Crystal and Lindsay. They said they loved Dill pickle, hence the name.

Crystal is actually a ‘Supermarket Sweep’ alum. She appeared in the original show 30 years ago. A video was played showing a younger Crystal shopping away in the vintage game show. Last but not least were partners Fred and David who called themselves Team Hotdog. They met each other at a kickball game and were way too confident to win the game. Taking a dig at Team Dill, Team Hotdog said, “We don’t like pickles, we are ready to send the pickles home.”

The first round began with smaller sweeps in the game show. The smaller sweeps consist of riddle games where the contestants try to guess the name of the grocery item through multiple hints and clues — the team members try to guess the correct answer through jumbled up grocery item names and emojis.

By the end of the game Team Dill had the highest score and managed to save themselves three extra minutes for the big sweep. For the big sweep, each team was asked to go shopping for the items Leslie needs. The team that secures the highest amount by the end of the game would go on to the final sweep to play for the grand prize of $100,000.

Team Peach secured $2,603, Team Hot Dog had $3,342 and Team Dill scored the highest with a whopping $3,754. Team Dill moved on to the final sweep and it was as if they had been waiting for that moment. They quickly guessed the answer for each riddle thrown at them and found the item. They went on to win $25,000 after correctly finding the items of the first three riddles, $50,000 for another question and the grand prize of $100,000 for correctly guessing the last riddle.

The total amount that the mother and daughter took home was $103,74 after adding the amount from their previous sweep.
