CW's newly released picture of Superman and Lois Lane together gives us another glimpse at the 'Elseworlds' crossover

The much-awaited legendary crossover of Arrowverese is less than a month away. We have been getting constant updates that have only made our curiosity about Elseworlds grow. We have seen Oliver Queen and Barry Allen dressed as each other's alter-egos, Arrow and the Flash in an official poster. In a recent spoiler image, we also saw the villainous doppelganger of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) in between a fight scene with Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, and Superman. All these images have led fans to concoct many theories about the crossover event.

To add to the curiosity, the CW has released a preview picture of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) from the crossover. Superman in his iconic blue suit has his arm around Lane, who is seen in a flowy white dress. According to TV Guide, this dress of Lane is similar to the dress adorned in the past by Kryptonian women in Supergirl. Coincidence? The couple seems to be standing in Superman's icy Fortress of Solitude, which we have seen in Supergirl too. Hoechlin took to Instagram to release the picture with the caption, "First look! Superman and his better half, Miss Lois Lane... Catch them on the crossover event this December!

Elizabeth Tulloch also posted this picture on her Instagram with caption in all uppercase, "ONE. MONTH." The stars look as excited as their fans are after seeing them together and of course, about the upcoming crossover.

What's going to be a mystery is the number of versions each of the superheroes has in Elseworlds. We have seen the superheroes in each other's suits a lot in the past month and but we will have to wait till December to find out more about Arrowverse's crossover. Not to forget, the introduction of Batwoman (Ruby Rose) is one amongst the zillion reasons to watch this upcoming event. The three shows, 'Supergirl', 'Arrow' and 'The Flash' are prepping for the crossover but we will have to wait and watch how they are going to lean into this three-day crossover which begins in December.

The Arrowverse crossover begins on The CW on December 9 with 'The Flash', followed by 'Arrow' on December 10 and finally ending on December 11 with 'Supergirl'.
