Reality can be a real pain sometimes and Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) has had enough. After losing her father Jeremiah in the previous episode of 'Supergirl', Alex decides to take a trip through virtual reality to avoid dealing with her grief.

Before doing so, she reminds her sister Kara (Melissa Benoist) that Jeremiah treated her like a golden girl while he ignored Alex's existence and that she has "dealt with his loss multiple times".

And now, in virtual reality, Alex is Supergirl and is realizing the pros and cons of being so. She looks pretty great in the super suit and rocks the bangs like a pro. Fans have been excited to see Super Alex for a while now, and have a lot to say.

One fan tweeted, "Wow! How surreal is it seeing Alex being Super!" tweeted a fan. "ALEX SUPERHERO IS SO GOOD I WANNA DIE." wrote a fan.

"Super alex's suit is FIRE," tweeted a fan. Another wrote, "Seeing Alex as supergirl is literally the best and most iconic moment ever she look SO GOOD alex is a true superhero."

One fan pointed out, "I find it ironic that Alex is talking about suffering a repeated loss (especially of a parent) and getting to reel and lash out angrily, meanwhile the show rarely lets Kara explore the same emotions over the same if not worse and *constant* kinds of losses."

Another fan wrote, "Alex using VR to grieve this episode will be emotional..." One fan made a comment that Alex looked better as Supergirl than Kara did. "Alex looks better as supergirl than Kara," tweeted a fan.

"I feel like Alex will start to see things a little differently after getting a chance to see what it’s like to be Kara," a fan tweeted. Some are more concerned about the fact that Alex might just get stuck in the VR. "Get out of there, Alex!"

"ALEX THIS ISN'T HEALTHY," tweeted a fan. However, fans are a little perplexed why Alex decided to confide in her new friend in the VR.

"WHY IS ALEX CONFIDING IN THIS RANDOM BONNIE CHICK SHES NEVER EVEN F**KING MET WHEN HER LITERAL THERAPIST GIRLFRIEND IS WAITING FOR HER?????? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE?!?!?!!"

Another wrote, "Why’s Alex opening up to Indiana Jones?? LMAO."

'Supergirl' airs on The CW on Sundays at 9 pm.
