'Supergirl' Season 5 Episode 14: Kara needs to reconcile with Lena and take care of her, say worried fans
Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) has always been a fan-favorite because of her enigmatic and frosty persona. She isn't a villain, but she is not on the side of the heroes either. It's these very greys, rather than following the path of virtue or complete evil, that make her stand out in the show. Her friendship with Kara/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) has become one of the heartbeats of 'Supergirl'.
However, as things stand, Lena is furious with Kara for not revealing her secret identity to her. Lena is seething with revenge and anger, and in her loneliness has resorted to working with her diabolic brother Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer). Lex is carefully manipulating Lena at every step, and in her bitterness, she seems to be falling for the trap.
In the latest episode of 'Supergirl', Lex further manipulates Lena under the guise of a tender sibling moment. He promises to be by her side and says that his intentions towards her have always been 'noble'.
Fans are just waiting for a reconciliation between Lena and Kara so that Lena can stop being engulfed by her own misery. "IM A NEED KARA TO HUG LENA NOW PLEASE HER GIRL NEEDS IT - SHE WANTS TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE - and she can't do it all on her own... The overwhelming stress Lena is feeling from everyone is feeling at the prison. Kara should be there with her," wrote a fan.
"Would love to see Kara showing up on Lena's balcony after this, saying, "I know we aren’t okay, but I had a really bad day, and I missed my best friend."
"Lena breaks the tiniest bit and turns around, not inviting her in but not demanding she leave," tweeted another fan. Another wrote, "Don't listen to him no lena, kara still believing in you please don't cry."
Some fans are worried that Lena is going through emotional hell. "I don't care who they put Kara on as a couple, what matters to me is what they are doing with Lena, they think to kill her emotionally? what's wrong Lena deserves to be happy and let her out of the lab please," tweeted a fan.
"WHY CAN LENA FORGIVE LEX BUT NOT KARA," wrote another fan. "I wish Kara would just go talk to Lena, as Kara not Supergirl, and ask her to explain what/why she's doing Non Nocere, it wouldn't solve all their issues, but they need to get talking as Lena & Kara again," wrote a fan.
