The Crisis might have passed, but the ripples of its aftershocks are still being felt everywhere in the Arrowverse. In this post-Crisis era of 'Supergirl', Kara (Melissa Benoist) is struggling to deal with an Earth where Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) is a good guy and there are a vast amount of doppelgangers to confuse the wits out of our heroes. Plus, there's the ever-looming threat of Leviathan. Yet, this isn't any time to puzzle over the predicament of the world, because other strange and unworldly things are taking place.

In the latest episode of 'Supergirl', fan-favorite Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) returned with a story arc than will span over three episodes. Not just this, it was a treat for fans to know that his wife was Lightning Lass aka Ayla Ranzz, a member of the Legion.

Winn had departed in Season 3 to join the Legion. The announcement of the Legion Ship in Season 3 with Bon Jovi music booming in the background is something us Arrowverse fans don't forget in a hurry.

A little refresher about the Legionaires, after Reign almost obliterated Kara in the Season 3 mid-finale, Mon-El went to Brainiac 5 to save her. After initial hesitation, the Legionnaires finally decide to bring down Reign. Their Legion rings glowed red while Mon-El and Imra or rather Saturn Girl took to battle and Brainy fired on Reign continuously. Now that was a glorious scene.

Shame a similar spectacle couldn't be replicated in the latest episode of 'Supergirl', but it was nevertheless a relief to see Winn, who had returned from the future to fight his evil doppelganger, the Toyman, who was inspired by his father. And, we got to see the Legion ship again.

The grand Legion Of Superheroes (something that comic lovers are well-versed with), includes Brainiac 5, Saturn Girl. Each of the Legionnaires has different logos.

Brainy has a three-dot motif that is embossed on his shirt and Imra had the representation of Saturn, with more rings. The Logo of the Legion commanded respect on its own. It appears in the frosted glass partitions on the command deck of the ship, and it's clear that much attention was paid to the craft of the logo. As explained in Season 3, the Legion had returned to the past to defeat the 'Blight'. The secret to defeating this was encoded in the DNA of the five Legionnaires. However, they're unable to keep returning to the past, they will sleep until the 31st century. This plan was changed around by a missile.

The story of the Legionnaires from the show almost keeps to the comic storyline, where an intergalactic 'Blight' took hold of the Legion members and used them to conquer the world.  While they finally defeated the Blight, many Legionnaires were stuck in space and made it home by the skin of their teeth.

Will we get to see more of the Legion in CW's 'Supergirl'?
