With season 4 of 'Supergirl' just days away from premiering,  the series has released a new trailer to give the viewers and fans a glimpse of what they can expect in the upcoming episode. The teaser reveals the new villains and obstacles that Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will have to face this season. Among the notables ones we see is Agent Liberty (Sam Witwer), who is an anti-alien zealot and is seen creating a vast amount of disturbance in the teaser, he also seems to be enjoying it as well.

Liberty is described as "the ruthless and terrifying leader of the Children of Liberty, a human-first hate group. He’s a "brilliant orator in the guise of a family man, who can easily convince people that he's right." Agent Liberty aka Benjamin Lockwood happens to be an ex-CIA agent who removes himself from the government and finally forms his own paramilitary group.

Apart from Agent Liberty, we see Mercy Graves (Rhona Mitra), who happens to be a fan favorite in DC Comics, since she is related to the Luthor Family. Despite there being very little details as to how she will make her entrance in the show, the trailer reveals that she will obviously have a couple of politically-charged motivations. We hear her mentioning that she wishes to create fear in the hearts of the citizens.

Every single villain in this season has their own interesting role that they will be playing. 'Supergirl' season 4 stars Benoist as Kara Danvers/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow ‘Winn’ Schott, Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor, Jess Rath as Brainiac 5, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw/J’onn J’onnz,  Witwer as hero Agent Liberty, Mitra as Mercy Graves, and Brent Spiner as Vice President Baker.

The new episodes of 'Supergirl' are all set to premiere Sunday, October 14 at 8/7c on CW. Don't miss out.
