'Summerland': Meet Gemma Arterton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and the rest of the cast of the World War II drama film
Cheer up folks, you might still be in lockdown, but we've got something to keep the blues at bay. The British war drama 'Summerland' will release to digital retailers in a couple of hours and promises to be a delightful mush-fest. The film is set during World War II and narrates the story of a shy, reclusive writer who falls in love with an evacuee from the London Blitz.
The official synopsis states: "During World War II, reclusive writer Alice has her sequestered life upended when Frank, an evacuee from the London Blitz, is left in her care. Despite initially resolving to be rid of him, Alice finds herself and her emotions reawakened by him." The cast of the film is filled with familiar faces. So, meet the cast of 'Summerland'.
Gemma Arterton

Gugu Mbatha-Raw
Gugu Mbatha-Raw is known for her role as Tish Jones, sister of Martha Jones, in 'Doctor Who'.
