In the end, it was a game of power, and Logan Roy (Brian Cox) proved he would do anything to win. "I f****g win," he says in the final minutes of 'Succession' Season 3 Episode 9, and that leaves the Roy kids in tatters. Even a unified front with Kendall (Jeremy Strong) doesn't help Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Shiv (Sarah Snook) as Logan writes off a major chunk of Waystar to Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgard) who plans to merge his GoJo tech with Waystar-Royco and get on the board, restructuring it the way he sees beneficial.

This though sees the Roy siblings disagree as they plan to wage an all-out war and a coup over their father. The move fails catastrophically as Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) alerts Logan of his children's plans to stop him by not voting for the move as they are shareholders in the company as well. However, Logan uses the divorce settlement and tweaks it to his advantage so that the kids have no authority to bulldoze the move. This left the audience spellbound as they took to Twitter to share their two cents.

"Everybody keeps talking about Tom like he won something. He has no shares. The only move he can make is support Logan. Maybe Matson let's him keep his job but he didn't win anything. #Succession," read one of the tweets. "Tom Wambsgans walking through that doorway as the ultimate “fuck you” was the best thing I’ve ever seen #Succession #SuccessionHBO," another read.

"Well now that we kinda know how these assholes' brains work...is it safe to say that Logan was rejecting of Kendall all along b/c he knew he would likely be a drug addicted, rogue liability?? This is SAD!!!!! S3:E9 #Succession #SuccessionHBO," a comment read. "Someone please tell me what was in it for Tom? What was his motivation to warn Logan? Wouldn’t he be out of a job too?#Succession" one of the fans asked. "Tom! You steely eyed killer, you! Bravo! #Succession," one of the fans said.

"Well it seems #Succession writers a like to fuck with the emotions of their viewers like Logan likes to fuck with the fates of his children or more so maybe more like the Titans of American corporations like to fuck with the markets & the stockholders -those “pedestrians," a comment read.
