'Strangers' Season 2 has not yet been green-lit, but here's what we think it might deal with

The finale of 'Strangers' (a.k.a 'White Dragon') almost wrapped up the meddling puzzle of the murder mystery. Starring John Simm as Jonah Mulray, Anthony Wong as David Chen, Katie Leung as Lau Chen, Emilia Fox as Sally Porter, and Dervla Kirwan as Megan Harris, the ITV original drama followed the London-based Professor Mulray whose world falls apart when he is informed about the death of his wife, Megan, in Hong Kong.
Beginning in media res, during its course, the story shifts backward and forward in time, to piece together various incidents and moments from Megan's life to reach the final conclusion of her death. The finale episode gave out the bathetic reality of Megan's death, the revelation she was raped by property business tycoon Xiaodong Xo (played by Kenneth Tsang), and ultimately gave birth to an illegitimate child, Lau.
