Whew, that was quite an intense episode of 'Star Trek: Picard'. Aptly titled 'Broken Pieces', the episode kept to the ongoing theme of brokenness and unhealed wounds. Apart from heart-stopping action and mind-blowing performances from Jeri Ryan and Patrick Stewart, the show also finally dealt with the personal lives of the La Sirena crew.

Rio got an emotional story arc to himself, expertly handled by Raffi Musiker (Michelle Hurd). A lot of things went down in the episode, and fans are struggling to wrap their heads around it. For the most part, viewers are raving about the storyline and performances and are rather distraught that only two episodes of the CBS All-Access show are left.

A fan exulted, "Excellent episode! So many great scenes and character moments. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say I can't wait for the next one. I really love this series."

Seven Of Nine turns Borg for a couple of moments. "@JeriLRyan Can I tell you are so fricken fantastic? Very well done," wrote a fan.

Some fans got emotional watching Picard's conversation with Soji. Soji asks Picard whether Data (Brent Spiner) and he were close. It's a known fact that Picard is not entirely comfortable in showing emotions, and neither clearly was Data. Yet the two shared a close bond. One fan referred to Picard and Soji's conversation and wrote, "'He loved you.' Damn, there's the tingle of tears again."

"I honestly believe 'Broken Pieces' will ultimately be my favorite episode of the whole season. This is the Star Trek I believe in," tweeted another fan.

"We are learning how to be human, even though we are born as such. Broken Pieces, the latest episode of #StarTrekPicard was powerful to say the least. I can’t believe there are only two episodes left. I don’t want the game to end, I don’t want this catharsis to end," wrote a fan.

One fan wrote that this episode is exactly what they wanted from 'Star Trek: Picard'. "Broken Pieces gave me so many things I've always wanted in Star Trek. This is exactly the story I wanna see told. Absolutely amazing!" tweeted a fan.

'Star Trek: Picard' airs on CBS-All Access, Thursdays at 12:01 am.
