What is the plot of 'My Name Is Loh Kiwan?'

The drama film follows the story of Loh Kiwan (Song Joong-ki), a North Korean defector, and Marie (Choi Sung-eun), a former sportswoman.

The film follows their hardships as Loh Kiwan, who fled North Korea, works tirelessly to fulfill his mother's final wish—that he be granted a place he can call home—by obtaining refugee status in Belgium.

Meanwhile, former athlete Marie has entirely lost the desire to live following the death of her mother and has developed a troubled relationship with her father.

The two broken souls soon meet and try to fill each other's void, weaving an emotional human story.
