'Solar Opposites' Season 2 Full Cast List: Meet Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch and rest of the stars from Hulu's animated series
The highly-popular animated series ‘Solar Opposites’ is back with Season 2 and it promises to be bigger and funnier than the previous one. The first season achieved a lot of success and was one of the top shows of 2020.
The series revolves around a group of four aliens who escape their exploding planet only to crash land into a move-in ready home in America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Their mission is to protect the Pupa, a living supercomputer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.

The upcoming season will see the family working on their spaceship and repairing it to leave the planet. The journey will be filled with a lot of laugh-out-loud moments and utter chaos. The show’s original cast – Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone and Mary Mack – will be returning for the upcoming season.

Justin Roiland as Korvo
Born on February 21, 1989, in California, Justin Roiland is one of the most prominent voice actors in the industry right now. He started his professional career in 2004 with the TV series ‘Cheap Seats without Ron Parker’. In 2005, he created and wrote the show ‘House of Cosbys’ and achieved moderate success. Roiland was also a part of ‘The Sarah Silverman Show’ and appeared in 8 episodes as Blonde Craig.
After making cameo appearances in various projects, Roiland teamed up with Dan Harmon to create the animated series ‘Rick and Morty’. The show achieved universal acclaim and took his popularity to a whole new level. He won 2 Primetime Emmys for the show and was recently nominated at the Critics Choice Super Awards in the Best Voice Actor in an Animated Series category.
Thomas Middleditch as Terry
Born as Thomas Steven Middleditch, the Canadian actor loved acting since the eighth grade and appeared on numerous theater productions. He studied theater at the University of Victoria before moving to Toronto. In 2007, a sketch video he made for Chicken McNuggets with Fernando Sosa in Chicago was purchased by McDonald's and used as a commercial.
The actor made his feature film debut in 2009 with the movie ‘Rebound’. Middleditch got his first lead role in a feature film in 2010 when he was cast as Justin Frost in the movie ‘Splinterheads’. The movie received a smaller release, but Middleditch was praised for his acting. However, he gained a lot of prominence on the TV series ‘Silicon Valley’. His stint on the show took his popularity to a whole new level and made him receive his first Emmy nomination.
He has also appeared on projects like ‘Beavis and Butt-Head’, ‘The Office’, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, ‘Entanglement’ and ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’.
Sean Giambrone as Yumyulack
Born on May 30, 1999, in Michigan, Sean Giambrone started his acting career at the age of 9 and went on to work in several high-end projects. The actor started his professional career by appearing in ads for McDonald’s and other brands. In September 2013, Giambrone was cast in ‘The Goldbergs’ as Adam Goldberg. He has achieved a lot of fame and success because of the series as it continues to rake in good ratings. The actor has also given his voice in movies like ‘The Emoji Movie’, ‘Clarence’, ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet’, ‘The Secret Life of Pets 2’ and ‘Harley Quinn’.
Mary Mack as Jesse
The actress has been a part of the industry since 2005 but gained prominence in the early 2010s. The comedian-turned-actress has a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Before beginning her career in the music industry, she taught music at elementary and middle school levels in various parts of the United States.
Mack played a major role in the animated series ‘Golan the Insatiable’ and voiced the character of Dylan Beekler in Season 1. Despite receiving positive reviews, Mack was not given a chance to come back for the second season and was replaced by Aubrey Plaza.
