Kaity Biggar never thought it would be her who Zach Shallcross will be proposing

As Zach stood beside Kaity, holding her hand, Kaity chose her words wisely to express her love towards 'The Bachelor' Season 27 lead. She confessed, "Zach, coming here, I didn’t think it could be me, that I could experience a big love, a love that you only read about in books, that you only see in movies." She added, "The truth is, I’ve never known what real love is. I’ve never experienced unconditional love." Kaity accepted that she built her walls so high that she "couldn't see past them." Well, it was Zach who helped Kaity know the real love. She claimed, "Zach, every moment I’ve spent with you, my walls came crumbling down. With every kiss, with every laugh, and with every ‘hello, hello.’ I’m so in love with you, and so crazy in love with you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Honestly, if it’s not you, it’s not anyone."

'So many red flags, good luck Kaity'

Zach and Kaity getting together, in the end, would have got more positive reactions if Zach wouldn't do wrong to Gabi. Zach claimed to Jesse Palmer that he knew Kaity was the one after the fantasy suite episode. So, does that mean he was playing to be nice to Gabi, giving her false hopes, only to get physical with her? After seeing Zach break Gabi's heart and go after Kaity, a fan tweeted, "So many red flags….good luck Kaity." Another wrote, "Kaity is such a girl’s girl and deserves to be happy…but doesn’t mean that I’M happy about it." "I don't see how Kaity ignores the red flags from Zach shown this season once the smoke clears. He did Gabi dirty to save his face," wondered a fan.

Moreover, fans were surprised to see Kaity win the show. "Is anyone surprised he chose Kaity because I called that weeks ago," a fan tweeted after Kaity was declared the winner. Another fan cited the reason for the negative reaction toward Kaity and Zach's engagement, "I feel for Kaity too tbh. The reaction to her engagement would be more positive if not for her stupid fiancé and the Gabi situation.' A fan slammed the couple, "Good thing Kaity's standards are low as s**t because Zach sucks."
