Last year, Tyler Perry and BET Networks started their jointly produced streaming service, BET+, with the launch coming with Tyler Perry-produced dramas. One of them, 'Sistas', was the best new scripted cable series in a pair of key demographics: Black people between the age groups of 18-49 and 25-54.

Plot
'Sistas' follows a group of single Black women from various walks of life. They bond over one single issue — that they are single. These women will navigate their "complicated love life" status, careers and friendships through the ups and downs of living in a modern world obsessed with social media and unrealistic relationship goals.
Season 2 of Sistas began production on July 15 and wrapped less than two weeks later, a day ahead of schedule. The official synopsis for the second season is: "This new season will pick up right where it left off, with Tyler Perry taking viewers on an exhilarating ride of emotions and gut-busting predicaments that will test the ladies’ long-standing friendship. This band of women, intertwined with their newfound relationships, must navigate this new-age dating scene as they continue to search for love in their 30s.”

KJ Smith
KJ Smith is an actress whose work credits include 'Black-ish' and 'A Madea Family Funeral'. In 'Sistas', she plays Andrea "Andi" Barnes, the one with common sense in the group. She is a successful divorce lawyer focused on taking her career to the next level.
Ebony Obsidian
Ebony Obsidian is known for her work in 'If Beale Street Could Talk' and 'Wu-Tang: An American Saga'. She plays Karen Mott, the owner of an up-and-coming hair salon. She is street-smart, headstrong and independent. Tired of being mistreated by men, she is beginning to take a very close look at the relationships in her life.
Mignon Von
Mignon Von's previous acting credits include 'Sister Code' and '42 Seconds'. She plays Daniella "Danni" King who is the kind of woman who does not hold back. Danni is comical, fearless and marches to the beat of her drum and always has her girls' back.
Novi Brown
Novi Brown's previous acting credits include 'Same Sex' and 'My Dad's a Soccer Mom'. She plays Sabrina Hollins who is stylish and smart. Sabrina works as a bank teller and tends to be reserved and play it safe.
