'Siesta Key': Juliette Porter and her broken relationships with Alex, Robby and Chloe
'Siesta Key' star Juliette Porter leads a happening life — one that makes headlines often. The MTV show returned early January with the third season and it has been great so far.
Right at the beginning, we are given a hint that Juliette may be over her ex, Alex Kompothecras, and is dating Robby Hayes, an entrepreneur. The relationship appears smooth and mushy on the show, but the pair broke up mid-2019. They met in April at the Stagecoach Festival and split by the end of June.
Even though the former pair agreed that their mature relationship ended because of immature reasons, there have been sources who have claimed that it was the difference in lifestyles that caused them to go separate ways, E! Online reported. However, they continue to be great friends. But there's a good chance Alex and ex-best friend, Chloe Trautman, could be reasons why the two split. In Season 3 trailer, we see a concerned Alex confronting Juliette about her relationship with Robby with these exact lines: "the guy you are with is a bitch". He's the one to talk.
Alex and Juliette shared an extremely tumultuous and toxic relationship, during the course of which they have broken multiple times. However, what really broke the deal for Juliette was when she saw a girl in his bed and him trying to defend himself that he had nothing to do with it. However, by then she had been exhausted with them trying to hit a perfect note and therefore, finally decided to call it quits.
But has he totally ceased to exist for her? Last month, after Alex shared a photo of him kissing her new girlfriend, Alyssa, with whom he is expecting a child, Juliette posted a (now-deleted) comment about how he had cheated on Alyssa with her several months ago. Alex is yet to comment on the matter. Meanwhile, Juliette has shared her concern about the pregnancy and how it has affected her.
"It was hard. It was definitely hard. I mean, everyone can think I am very petty for saying this but this is actually reality; he basically knocked up his rebound and I think it was too soon for me because he basically got another girl pregnant the same year we broke up... which is a fact," she told ETonline.
Juliette may not want anything to do with Alex, but she approves of Alyssa. "She's definitely calmer than I am and in ways, I think she, like, accepts more things than I do... I wish him the best and, you know, this is his path now and I hope that everything works out for him," she added.
Not only are the men a cause of worry in Juliette's life, but also one of her girlfriends, Chloe Trautman. She may be quite the pot-stirrer but ever since Season 3 premiered she has been wanting to hang out with Juliette like before. But that hasn't happened because she has a new boyfriend and has been invested in it. Juliette too has had bitter feelings towards Chloe and her being friends with Alex again.
Interestingly, they never spoke to each other about these feelings, and when they did it came to blows. Last week, Juliette was almost not considering Chloe for her housewarming party but later changed her mind thinking of old times. After Chloe arrived, she made a risque comment about Robby, which ticked Juliette off and they moved to the porch to have a conversation. What could have been settled with an apology from both sides, escalated into a full-fledged brawl with Juliette punching Chloe in the head.
Even Juliette now regrets having gotten violent with Chloe, she justified her actions in an interview with Hollywood Life, in which she mentioned how she was not one bit pleased listening to Chloe give her weird reasons for her not being on the page as before. "I thought that she really supported me and didn’t like the way he was treating others and all that. I expected her to apologize to me [at the housewarming party], but instead, it was all my fault. It just escalated from there," the reality TV star shared.
Let's hope Season 3 allows Juliette to work on and repair all of her broken relationships.
