'SHINee DAY': Air time, how to live stream, how to win giveaways and all you need to know about band's 13th debut anniversary

One of the most awaited days of the year for SHINee's fandom Shawols is finally here. On May 25, SM Entertainment's iconic boy group SHINee is celebrating crossing a decade with K-pop. To celebrate the group's 13th debut anniversary, SHINee will come on live with a special event titled, 'SHINee DAY', where K-pop superstars Minho, Taemin, Onew and Key will join fans in their anniversary celebration.

SHINee DAY will be live-streamed from Naver V LIVE app. Check here for the link to the video. With SHINee DAY being the top chatter of the day, the live stream video has crossed over 18 million likes even before starting which only proves the excitement of the SHINee fans worldwide.

How to enter the SHINee special giveaway

According to SM Entertainment's US page, SHINee fans can win a gift card for SHINee merch just by showing off their Shawol collection using the hashtag #SMUSASHINeeGiveaway. Check the Twitter post below for all the detailed rules of the giveaway.

13 years with SHINee

SHINee, deemed as the 'Princes of K-pop', has contributed immensely to solidify its base on the global map. SHINee's 'Sherlock' or 'Ring Ding Dong' have made their spots as the iconic K-pop songs that even the newer generations can't help but bop to. SHINee debuted in 2008 with five members Onew, Key, Minho, Jonghyun and Taemin. The group which made their distinguished impact on listeners' minds with highly synchronized and complex dance routines and catchy beats became one of the best-selling K-pop groups along with getting critical appreciation for introducing a number of experimental tunes, blending various genres like funk rock, hip-hop, and EDM.

SHINee has recently released its seventh full album, 'Don't Call Me', after a hiatus. This album marks the group's first project where late singer Jonghyun would not have any credit. After 'Don't Call Me', SHINee also released their repackaged album 'Atlantis' with three new tracks.

Taemin's message for the fans

As Taemin's enlistment day is coming near which the K-pop crooner announced earlier, fans have taken to Twitter to thank the K-pop star along with leaving messages for the 'Move' singer. A fan shared, "During the fansign yesterday, Taemin said that he'll be beside us in the blink of an eye but he's somewhat upset that he can't bubble (when he leaves)". Another fan chimed in, saying, "do you remember that last year taemin did a live by himself decorating a cake for shinee's day? and this year he will be with his members!" Shawols have also thanked the K-pop group for entertaining them for a decade and more. A fan wrote, “The day I saw you for the first time. I probably used up all the luck in my life” Thank you SHINee for being my happiness, I’m so proud to be your fan."
