LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Becca Millstein and Caroline Goldfarb founded Fishwife in 2020, and it sells a selection of ethically sourced canned fish online and at various retail locations. However, viewers couldn't help but criticize the firm for its pricey wares when the product made its debut on 'Shark Tank'.

Anyone interested in eating Fishwife Tinned Seafood after watching it on 'Shark Tank' could start by visiting the company's website at eatfishwife.com. On the site's home page, everyone who enters their email address with the code "SHARKTANK10" will receive a 10% discount on their first order.

There is also a Shark Tank Bundle, which costs $84. This includes eight jars of Fishwife canned fish.

There are a few additional alternatives. There is a Spicy Hot Trio bundle for $36. The Classic Snoky Trio costs $33. The Tinned Fish Serving Set costs $140. That's only the beginning; there are various options for packs and even souvenirs like hats and t-shirts to help promote the firm. You may purchase individual packets on Amazon.

On X, fans criticized the company saying, "Yeah, they're horribly overrated and expensive. $84 for 1.73 ounce tins? No thank you @fishwife." Another user chimed in, "@Fishwife product is garbage at ripoff prices. Just buy your own smoked salmon and chili crisp."

One quipped, "Artisanal sardines? Really?" While a fourth person noted, " idk the name “fishwife” for a company is a weird name even if it’s for canned fish."

When was Fishwife created?

Tinned fish popularity increased during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, as people sought healthy, shelf-stable foods. Becca and Caroline, co-founders of Fishwife, were two of these customers while quarantined in Los Angeles.

While out trekking in early 2020, the couple noticed that there was no American firm that met the demands of this emerging market. They chose to fill the hole by committing to ethical sourcing.

How did Fishwife get its name?

Becca and Caroline called their firm Fishwife, after the 16th-century word for fishermen's wives and daughters who accompanied them to market. The couple also wanted to do honor to their own canned fish-loving forebears.

Becca's grandmother appreciated the inexpensive meals of 1930s Brooklyn, and Caroline's Iranian mother passionately prepared sardines and tuna.

Fishwife's excellent ratings are reflected in its strong sales

The billion-dollar sector that produces canned tuna and other tinned fish products has developed rapidly in recent years, and Fishwife is undoubtedly a significant contributor. While she would not disclose the precise monetary number, Becca told the Associated Press that Fishwife's yearly income increased by around 250% between 2021 and 2022, and that sales continue to rise.

Fishwife Goods has received rave reviews, underscoring the brand's attention to quality and sustainability; however, a few social media users have questioned the company for its expensive costs.

Fishwife's earnings will undoubtedly increase as a result of the exposure associated with her appearance on the show. Becca and Caroline are aware of the benefits, as the firm started selling a 'Shark Tank' package after publicizing the show on their TikTok page.
