‘Shark Tank’: Why didn't Muff Waders grab a deal? Fans ask if it holds ‘wine’ and say ‘every man will love’ it
Life and beer are very similar. Chill for best results. A pair of entrepreneurs from Holstein, Iowa, certainly seems to think so. On ‘Shark Tank’ Season 12 Episode 16, Taylor “Earl” Nees and has Garret “Buddy” Lamp pitched an intriguing product to get the party going.
Introducing Muff Waders: Their innovative apparel that keeps your drinks cool and your hands-free. Calling them the only bibs made for work AND play, the official website says: They are made by the drinking man for the drinking man! If you love your drinks, this product is tailor-made for you!

What are Muff Waders's sales?
Narrating their story, the duo recounted how Taylor first got the idea and Garrett then joined him. "I went to a football game and thought I wish I had overalls on... I went back home and drew the concept," Taylor said. Garrett then added how he wanted to join him full-time but he had a beautiful boy and then explained how he spends time with his son and girlfriend aside from the business.
Talking about their sales, the entrepreneurs revealed it amounted to $54,000 since last September. The cost is $85 and the price to make it comes up to $31. The Sharks then asked them if they have a patent and the answer was yes. Taylor explained they have two patents and two more will come soon.
It was when Robert Herjavec asked them about their factory, Taylor started to fumble and ended up saying, "What was the question, again?"
Why didn't they get a deal?
Soon after, Lori Greiner said it was "not the right deal" for her. Daymond John said both of them would be fine together and opted out too. On a funny note, Mark Cuban thanked them for not inventing it when he was in college. In no time, others also backed out. After walking out, Taylor said, "I am pretty pissed off. I think they missed two great guys who worked hard. We will just keep pushing, going ahead."
Fans were pretty bummed when they went back home empty-handed. "I can't believe all of the sharks are put on @MuffWaders. I don't even drink and thought that was a great product," one tweet read and another said, "Yea, Muff Waders definitely should keep going with personal ads and even amazon if they want. Dem boys will be all over this, come hunting season."
Many felt it was a great gift for guys. "Does Muff Waders hold wine, too, so Kevin can wear these at his Chevaliers du Testavin club?" one posted and another said, "Muff Waders umm this is great and an awesome self-purchase for guys but for girls to and will be a gift every man will love."
