LONDON, ENGLAND: Paramount+'s latest crime series 'Sexy Beast' premiered on January 25, 2024. It is a prequel to Jonathan Glazer's critically acclaimed film of the same name.
The 2000 film features Ben Kingsley as Don Logan and Ray Winston as Gal Dove.
The recently released series traces the relationship between best friends and criminals Gal Dove and Don Logan, and how they took over London's criminal world during the 1990s.

Stan Higgins wants Gal Dove to kill the witness
After successfully stealing the rare coin from an armored van, Gal Dove and Don Logan, accompanied by two other teammates, execute a smooth escape.
However, Larry (Kyle Rowe) spots a security guard and scares him by firing a shot. Gal senses trouble due to Larry's foolish act.
Meanwhile, Stan Higgins (Paul Kaye) discovers the incident and instructs Gal to kill the security guard. Despite being aware of Gal's ethical stance, Cecilia Logan (Tamsin Greig) urges Don to carry out the task.
While Gal plans to deal with the situation in a non-violent way, he sees Don following the guard. As he is about to shoot him, Gal intervenes and asserts that they are not murderers. Gal offers money to their target and asks him to flee.
Does Teddy Bass know?
Later that night, the gang gathers to celebrate the successful heist. Teddy Bass (Stephen Moyer) enters and takes a headshot at one of the team members. He interrogates Gal about resolving the issue (killing the guard), and Gal assures him that everything is under control.
The episode concludes with Teddy giving a suspicious look, leaving everyone petrified after his unexpected shooting during the celebration.
The next development will be intriguing to see if Teddy uncovers the truth about his new partners-in-crime.
