The James McArdle and Emun Elliott starrer 'Sexy Beast', centers on the friendship between two friends, Gal Dove and Don Logan.

Thieves by profession, the pair ascends to the glamour and glitz of London, where an underworld boss offers them a job. The series will also feature a romantic relationship between Gal and adult movie star Deedee.

James McArdle

The series stars James McArdle as Gal Dove. The Scottish actor gained a breakthrough for his work in the National Theatre's production, 'Angels in America.' He was awarded the prestigious Ian Charleson Award for his performance in the theatre play 'Platonov.' 

The actor has also appeared in television shows and films, most notably 'Mary Queen of Scots,' 'Ammonite,' and 'The Pillars of the Earth.'

Emun Elliott

Renowned for his versatility, Emun Elliot plays the role of eccentric Don Logan in 'Sexy Beast.' Elliot's work ranges from television to movies, earning him acclaim.

The actor, who graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, made his television debut in the 2005 production, 'Monarch of the Glen.' 

His notable works include 'Paradox,' 'Threesome,' 'The Paradise', and 'Guilt.'

Tamsin Greig 

Tamsin Greig, who plays the role of Cecilia, is famous for her role in BBC Radio's 'The Archers.

Greig, who won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress, has actively worked in radio, television, films, and theatre productions. 

Her work credits include 'Much Ado About Nothing,' 'Love Soup,' 'The Archers,' and 'Tamara Drewe.'   

Who is the director of 'Sexy Beast?'

The series will be directed by Michael Caleo. He is a well-known screenwriter, having written for series like 'Rescue Me', 'The Family' and 'The Last Time', amongst others.

Caleo was also nominated for a Primetime Emmy for his contribution as a writer in the series 'The Sopranos' in 2004.
