The 27-year-old SM Entertainment artiste is one of the most talked-about K-pop stars of all time and with relationship rumors resurfacing on the internet, fans are wondering who is the mysterious person she has been connected to. 

Born as Kang Seul-gi, the Korean star is famously a part of Red Velvet’s most popular subunit duo — sub-unit Red Velvet - Irene & Seulgi. The K-pop crooner has also successfully ventured into a number of TV show hostings becoming more of a household name for the Korean population. Is Seulgi dating anyone?

While there is no confirmation if Seulgi is dating anyone, fans have been weighing their opinions on social media. From Seulgi can’t date a man to conspiracy theories, Seulgi fans had a lot to share. It is likely that the rumors could be fake and an attempt to distract fans from a Red Velvet comeback.

One fan said, “Yesterday Jennie then today Seulgi dating rumour. Me: OMG Blackvelvet collab soon!” Another said, “SM was the one that created that fake seulgi dating rumor they’re trying to distract us from a red velvet comeback!”

Fan bases also created fake dating expose posts to promote Seulgi’s old songs. A post read, “Dispatch announced Seulgi from Red Velvet is dating! SM has no confirmed anything but sources says she’s been dating this person for over a year. It’s me. She’s dating me.” Another similar tweet read, “excuse me but seulgi isn’t dating a m*n she’s actually dating me!”

A fan posted, “Seulgi and jb have been shipped since 2014 when this happened!” 

There may not be any confirmation on Seulgi’s dating rumors but the K-pop fandom is opening up to all the possibilities with utmost support for the singers.
