Justin Hartley and Chrishell Stause's divorce took centerstage in 'Selling Sunset' Season 3. The shocking split overshadowed everything else on the show. Most of the latter half of the season was focused on Chrishell coping with the shock. She found out about her split almost at the same as the world did. Justin informed Chrishell that he had filed for divorce via a text, leaving her high and dry. Fortunately, she had her sister, Shonda, and her family by her side, supporting her, helping her piece her life back together.

Meanwhile, fans are livid that Justin would break marriage via text. "Whew! Watching #SellingSunset has me all worked up. I cannot even imagine all that Chrishell went through and then, to lose BOTH of her parents too?! Justin Hartley is canceled in my house. What a douche canoe. Who even treats people like that? Not to mention someone you LOVE," a fan commented.

"Man i really liked Justin Hartley from This Is Us, but finding out how he just divorced Chrishell via text, makes me not like his ass! Its so fucked up she had to find out like that. #SellingSunset," another pointed out.

"Now I hate Kevin Pearson too. Damn it, Justin Hartley, you fucking prick! You’re ruining everything. #sellingsunset #teamchrishell," a user tweeted.

"Chrishell. Justin Hartley is so trash for that, my crush is gone. Smh trashhh. #SellingSunset," a fan expressed.

"Justin Hartley was wrong and now he’s mad everyone knows. Own it. You got this @Chrishell7 #kentuckygirls #SellingSunset," a user shared.

This apart, some were also shocked that when Davina Potratz and Christine Quinn should be extending an olive branch, they chose that time to gossip about how every story has two sides to it and questioned if Chrishell was really blindsided? Divorce cannot happen overnight and the couple may have been experiencing issues in their marriage for a significant amount of time, they speculated. But Maya Vander, who was lending a patient ear to the conversation, said they don't know the details so the least all of them could do is show some support and be there for Chrishell.

Davina, in her confessional, said it was hard to be there for Chrishell because she is guarded and protected all the time and it makes it hard for her or anyone to break through the walls she has built around herself.
