It is no secret that Selena Gomez loves her food. But her culinary skills are reportedly limited to just making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Thanks to the ongoing pandemic, the singer has all the time in the world to hone her cooking skills. In 'Selena + Chef', we see the 'Spring Breakers' star turning to some of the top chefs in the world to help her learn how to whip up some of the most interesting dishes from scratch.

HBO Max describes the show as, "In each episode of this unapologetically authentic cook-along, Selena will be joined remotely by a different master chef. Together, they'll tackle cuisines of every variety, share invaluable tips and tricks, and deal with everything from smoking ovens to missing ingredients. Each episode will highlight a food-related charity, and this casual, funny, and informative series will embrace both the struggle and the joy of learning to cook — while inviting audiences to follow along at home."

After watching the trailer of HBO Max's 'Selena + Chef', several fans are convinced that the 'Rare' singer might be a very talented cook. In the trailer, we see Selena's knife skills, her wrestling with an octopus, and serving an undercooked egg. Alongside the many kitchen disasters we get to witness in the trailer, we also see some little victories such as her grandparents enjoying her food, and the chef herself having some good fun in the kitchen.

A fan tweeted, "She should retire from music and just be a cook."

Another fan wrote, "A multi talented queen , she can cook and lip sync ."

"Selena Gomez flopped now she wants to cook. I mean this really shows how the pandemic is structured to rebranding," expressed a fan.

Another fan shared, "SELENA + Chef looks so good and cute omg."

Another fan wrote, "SO NOW WE HAVE SELENA STARRING IN A TV SERIES, SELENA + CHEF, RARE BEAUTY, SELPINK, THE TAYLENA COLLAB, AND SG3 TO LOOK FORWARD TO??? WE'RE GETTING FED SO GOOD."

The show features Selena Gomez alongside some famous chefs like Angelo Sosa, Antonia Lofaso, Candice Kumai, Roy Choi, etc. Selena's grandparents and two of her friends she's quarantining with will be acting as her tasters, and let us know how the dish turned out.

'Selena + Chef' is all set to premiere on Thursday, August 13, only on HBO Max.
