ABC is back with Season 18 of 'The Bachelorette'. The reality dating show includes our main star, Michelle Young, who hasn't given up on love and is ready to find her soulmate on show.

In the episode that aired on November 9, 2021, a group date was organized for Michelle and all of her prospects. This round would include an Ultimate Teddy Bear Takedown where participants were divided into two teams and had to fight the other with the bears they have to make it to the finals.

Unfortunately for Young, almost everyone was solely focused on winning the competition, and nobody really spent any quality time with her. This aspect really hit Michelle hard because she has dealt with similar issues of not being seen in the past. Michelle talks about her poem in which when she was the only woman of color in her class (is mostly overlooked and was not asked out on dates a lot, which is something she is still working towards, on a personal note. She adds that although she didn't intend on being the center of attention, she didn't want to be left out entirely. At the takedown, she literally had to call out to each person to spend some time with them; totally uncalled for.

Here's what fans had to say about the recent events on the reality show. One fan said, "It hurts my heart that Michelle doesn’t feel seen. She is beyond gorgeous and has the most amazing personality. She is so caring and intelligent. These guys don’t deserve her. I love her. #TheBachelorette", while another shared, "Michelle this entire episode #foreverunseen #TheBachelorette"

One fan tweeted, "I hope they did have a therapist there bc this is heavy #TheBachelorette", while another said, "wow… this is such a sad episode #TheBachelorette". Another fan said, "I did a drinking game where I took a shot every time someone said the word “seen” on the episode and I died 30 minutes ago #TheBachelorette".
