'Scoob!' soundtrack to feature Charlie Puth, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, Lennon Stella and more artists
The release date for the new Scooby-Doo movie titled 'Scoob!' is just around the corner on May 15, but we have got our eyes on its official soundtrack. Announced by Atlantic Records on May 5, 'Scoob! The Album' is set to feature collaborations from some prominent artists of the music industry.
The first full-length theatrical animated film 'Scoob!' is an original story which "reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc," according to the synopsis on the Warner Bros. official YouTube channel.
The synopsis continues, "Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global 'dogpocalypse', the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined."
The film is directed by Tony Cervone, known for his work on the animated film 'Space Jam' and the series 'Duck Dodgers'. The cast will include an awesome list of actors such as Mark Wahlberg, Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Gina Rodriguez, Will Forte and more. The soundtrack for the highly-anticipated film is leaving no stones unturned as it will feature 12 tracks from stars of various genres, according to Billboard.
Charlie Puth and Lennon Stella are first on the list with their 'Summer Feelings' collaboration, which is set to release on May 12. Thomas Rhett and Kane Brown will collaborate with 'On Me', which features Ava Max, and the track will release the same day as the OST on May 15. According to Variety, 'Scoob!' will skip theaters due to the coronavirus pandemic but will head to digital platforms. It is available for both premium video on demand and premium digital ownership on May 15 on digital rental services. 'Scoob' will be available to rent for $19.99 in the US and Canada and it will also be available to buy for $24.99.
