SBS Gayo Daejeon 2021 Lineup: SF9's Taeyang and Stray Kids' Hyunjin part of collab stage
Special collaborative stages are probably one of the reasons why fans look forward to the year-end music festivals. We have had some iconic collabs as idols from groups like Red Velvet, Mamamoo, Seventeen, NCT, Stray Kids have gotten together. The KBS Gayo Daechukje 2021 that took place earlier this month had show-stopping performances by the likes of TXT and Enhypen, and popular girl groups like Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, Brave Girls, Itzy and more. And now the special collab stages of SBS Gayo Daejeon 2021 has been revealed.
Previously, fans were over the moon with the collab stages of MBC Gayo Daejejeon that was revealed on December 22. We have seven iconic main dancers born in the year of the tiger performing SuperM’s ‘Tiger Inside’. As for girl groups, we are getting a mini IZ*ONE reunion for the MC collab stage which features Wonyoung, Yujin and Minju. We are also getting birthday twins Red Velvet’s Wendy and Mamamoo’s Solar for one collab stage. And the collab stage for SBS Gayo Daejeon is equally exciting.

SBS Gayo Daejeon 2021 collab stage
On December 23, a spokesperson of SBS explained that since the 2021 edition is the 25th anniversary of the SBS annual year-end music festival, they are going all out for it. SBS Gayo Daejeon was first launched in 1997 and even had an award ceremony which was discontinued 6 years ago. Now it is simply an explosive music festival with the prominent artists of the industry performing. For 2021, it is being hosted by comedian Boom, SHINee’s Key and Itzy’s Yuna. We have K-pop groups like Astro, Ateez and Red Velvet performing along with hip hop artists like Gray, Loco and Simon Dominic.
For the special stages, SBS has shared that they will be having a segment titled ‘25th anniversary legendary stages’. For it, members of popular girl and boy groups will be forming sub-units and reinterpreting iconic and legendary performances that have taken place in the previous editions of SBS Gayo Daejeon.
The male idol collab stage includes idols:
Woodz
Astro’s Moonbin
SF9’s Taeyang
The Boyz’s Juyeon
Stray Kids’ Hyunjin

The SBS Gayo Daejeon 2021 will be held at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon with a live audience. It will be held on December 25 at 6 pm KST (4 am ET) and will be broadcast on the SBS channel. For international fans, it will be live-streamed on SBS KPOP’s YouTube channel.
