Scarlett Johansson opened the weekend segment of 'Saturday Night Live' with her monologue which took viewers on a flashback trip to the 'Avengers Infinity War'. Johansson recalled that it was the sixth time that she was coming on the show and revealed that the only thing that has changed is that now she is engaged to Colin Jost, who is also part of the show.

Johansson joked about Jost being fired from the show if she happened to mess things up but added that wouldn't make much difference in their lives. The show then went on to take the viewers down memory lane as they reenacted the scene where all the cast members disappear.

One by one Johansson saw the cast of SNL disappearing and she had to think of a way to stop it. However, among the few who survived was Jost. Johansson did not seem that pleased to see her fiance surviving the Thanos snap and many people thought that their relationship reflected playfulness.

Quickly after understanding that Pete Davidson was the reason behind people's disappearance Johansson was quick to put things to an end. She later revealed that she was happy to be surrounded by the cast of the SNL during Christmas. However, one person in particular that made her happy about Christmas was Jost.

Johansson embraced him as she leaned in to give him a kiss. The pair looked very much in love as the camera panned out to show the rest of the cast. Viewers were quick to comment on their relationship with many remarking that they make an adorable couple. One fan wrote, "Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost are so cute together!.. like surprisingly. " Another added, "Awwwww Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost on her opening monologue are just the cutest!"

Some even hoped that things would lead to something surprising as a fan wished: "Am I the only one hoping Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost get married during the monologue tonight?"
