'Saturday Night Live' has always been the light at the end of the tunnel and never failed to entertain its viewers. Unfortunately, at the time of the coronavirus pandemic, a new episode of 'Saturday Night Live' will not be airing on NBC.

Instead, the show returns on March 28.

However, don't be disappointed, NBC will be airing a rerun of the episode with Kristen Stewart on March 14.

As for the episode on March 28,  John Krasinski is set to host the show with musical guest, Dua Lipa. Krasinski was set to appear on the show and promote his upcoming movie, 'Quiet Place 2'.

It was recently revealed that the release date of the movie has been pushed because of the coronavirus pandemic. "After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions on global travel and public gatherings, Paramount Pictures will be moving the worldwide release of 'A Quiet Place Part II'. We believe in and support the theatrical experience, and we look forward to bringing this film to audiences this year once we have a better understanding of the impact of this pandemic on the global theatrical marketplace," read the statement, as reported by Deadline

Krasinski also confirmed the news on his social media stating that he did not think it was the right time to release the film looking at what was happening all around the world. Recently, NBC also revealed that they were putting the production of most of their shows on hold due to coronavirus.

"The safety and health of our cast, crew and employees is our top priority," read the statement by NBC. "Where possible, we are pausing production for two weeks as a precautionary measure, following which we will reassess and determine an appropriate start date. In some cases, we are accelerating plans to wrap up physical production."

'Saturday Night Live' will return on March 28 at 11:30 pm ET on NBC.
