Eddie Murphy put on an entertaining show for the fans as 'Saturday Night Live' aired its last episode for the year. Coming to the show after nearly 30 years, Murphy proved once again that he hadn't lost his magic touch.

The actor took his time to shed light on the joy of welcoming his 10th child while adding that his movie 'Dolemite Is My Name' has released on Netflix.

Murphy revealed that he had been working hard as having 10 children is quite expensive. However, keeping all the jokes apart, Murphy shed light on how SNL had not been hosted by a person of color in a long time. Without hiding behind the details, Murphy stated, "This is the last episode of Saturday Night Live for 2019, but for black people, it’s the first episode of Saturday Night Live since I left in 1984.”

He took the stage to invite some of the other SNL comedians to the show. Tracy Morgan, Chris Rick, Dave Chappelle and Kenan Thompson joined Murphy on the stage and the five of them kept the audience entertained with their quirky remarks. Fans were happy to see that five of the best SNL comedians had come on the stage at the same time but most of all, they were happy to see black power shining through.

"I am sooooooooooo glad @nbcsnl listened to the fans!!!!!!!! Eddie Murphy, Tracy Morgan, Chris Rick, Dave Chappelle and Kenan Thompson ALL IN THE OPENING MONOLOGUE!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!" wrote one excited fan. "That was kind of an early #BlackHistoryMonth present all they were missing was the uncle from #TheJamieFoxxShow," wrote another.

Talking about the episode, another commented, "This the blackest I’ve seen #SaturdayNightLive since ever." While another wrote, "What an honor to see four of the greatest African American comedians all in one room on Saturday Night Live!!!!"

Others thought that the episode had already become iconic with the greatest SNL comedians on stage as the comment read, "Damn, 5 Black Comedians on Saturday Night Live at once....that's iconic" while another echoed similar thoughts and wrote, "This is an iconic Saturday Night Live Already."
