SAG Awards 2023 best dressed: Jenna Ortega, Austin Butler and Zendaya rule the red carpet
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: At the 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on February 26, which was broadcast live for the first time on Netflix's YouTube channel, Brendan Fraser picked up the Best Actor trophy for his work in 'The Whale,' while 'The White Lotus' won the Best Drama Series Ensemble trophy. The awards show also honored Michelle Yeoh as Best Actress for 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' and paid special tribute to Sally Field with the SAG Life Achievement Award.
However, the evening was not limited to the nominations or winners, but also a number of celebrities who appeared with their best and most dazzling looks. Zendaya
Our first pick is Zendaya, who appeared on the red carpet in a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown. The strapless pink gown was embellished with satin roses in the same shade of pink. She completed her look with Bulgari jewelry and gave her hair a touch of old Hollywood.

Cate Blanchett wore a black Giorgio Armani Privé gown, as per Page Six. The actress, who was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for he role in 'Tár,' previously wore the design to the 2014 Golden Globes and 2018 Cannes Film Festival, reports People.
Austin Butler
'Elvis' star Austin Butler opted for a maroon tuxedo from Gucci for the ceremony. In a May 2022 interview with British GQ, as per People, he spoke about waking up "at 4 in the morning with excruciating pain and being rushed to hospital." "My body just started shutting down the day after I finished Elvis," he explained. Speaking about losing his voice during filming 'Elvis,' he said he was performing Elvis Presley's version of 'Never Been to Spain.' "We did so many takes. And at a certain point, I just lost my voice. So then I went on vocal rest for a couple days, and I was able to come back," he said.
Ashley Park
'Emily in Paris' star Ashley Park opted for a cream gown by Elie Saab with a dramatic cape. What also drew attention was her bedazzled ankle brace, People reports.
Jenna Ortega
The 'Wednesday' actress Jenna Ortega wore a black strapless dress by Atelier Versace with a high slit. She paired her dress with platform heels by Jimmy Choo and jewelry by Tiffany & Co. The 20-year-old actress opted for peachy cheeks and lips and spoke to People about how her journey has been since the hit series 'Wednesday' came out. She told, "It felt like a whirlwind maybe more at the end of the year when the show initially came out. I feel like i tried to avoid the chaos as much as possible and keep myself surrounded by people that I love and know, and I think that they kind of helped ease my nerves. I've felt my life change, but I think I'm more focused on my work than anything, which kind of has made it a bit more of a seamless transition."
Julia Garner
The 29-year-old actress opted for bronze custom Gucci gown and platforms. The gown featured thigh-high slit and mesh fabric over Garner’s shoulders. She paired her stunning outfit with Irene Neuwirth jewelry, as per Just Jared Jr.

Danielle Deadwyler wore a custom Louis Vuitton gown, reprts Vanity Fair, with hand-embroidered pink ombré petals and looked divine. In a recent interview with The New Yorker, she spoke about her body as she said, "When I became a mother, there was a desire to deal with these complicated notions of my womanhood, my motherhood. I’m questioning what it means to be in this body, literally break it and put it back together again. Black women suffer so much in private. We’re at a point right now where the conversation is centered on Black women deserving to be soft. I did a good seven to eight years of exhausting my body."

Andrew Garfield kept it classic in a black suit with buttons undone on his white dress shirt. Garfield was also the presenter for introducing Sally Field to accept her lifetime achievement award. His stylist, Warren Alfie Baker, told The Hollywood Reporter, “We didn’t want to do anything too crazy, because we wanted to be respectful of the moment. Sally is an absolute icon, so our conversation started with that in mind.”
