LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ABC's 'Abbott Elementary' seems to be on a roll this year. Previously this year, Quinta Brunson's starring series won three out of the five Golden Globes categories that the series was nominated in. That is not all, at the 2023's Critics' Choice Awards, the ABC series had two nods out of the five categories. Speaking of accolades, the show's first season was nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards, winning three. Is it really much of a shocker? We don't think so.

Regardless, the ensemble cast includes Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and William Stanford Davis. The mockumentary sitcom television series is created by Quinta Brunson for ABC. It also stars Brunson as the main character of the series, Janine Teagues, who is a positive second-grade teacher at the poorly funded 'Abbott Elementary,' a fictional predominantly black school in Philadelphia. Furthermore, after the amazing reviews of the second season, the channel renewed for a third season of the mockumentary series earlier this year.

"I, unfortunately, spend a lot of time on three sides of this, producer and creator. And it's when I get to be a part of this ensemble, it allows me to — that wasn't a humble brag, it's the worst. But when I get to be a part of this ensemble, these people bring me back down to earth. They make me a better actor."
