Mary and Brittani have a bond that seems unbreakable. In the latest episode (June 14), Mary was excited to celebrate Brittani's graduation. She knew her daughter deserved the best and decided to throw a grand celebration party and invited over 60 people. However, one person she was looking forward to meeting was Zack.

Brittani had a crush on Zack for a long time but was disappointed when she found out that he just wanted to be friends with benefits. Despite this, Brittani decided to invite him with the hope that things might change. On the day of the event, she looked forward to seeing him but he was nowhere to be found.

Mary asked Brittani to text him but she realized the messages were not getting sent. Mary then took the number from Brittani and asked one of her friends to text Zack. She found out that Zack had blocked Brittany and won't be showing up for the event. Thinking that Brittani would be disappointed with this, Mary thought of taking matters into her hand. She spoke to Brittani and explained how it was time for her to move on and not think about Zack because there were better guys out there who would love to be with her. However, Mary felt the talk was not enough.

She called Brittani in front of the crowd and informed them about the gastric bypass surgery Brittani had. Mary admitted she loved her daughter and was ready to do anything for her. She further revealed Brittani wanted to get a tummy tuck surgery done as she had been conscious about her weight.

Mary then broke the news about her gift and stated she would be gifting Brittani a tummy tuck surgery because she loves her. While Brittani was happy to hear this, the guests present at the event, and the viewers thought it was inappropriate. "Mary and Brittani’s relationship seems extremely unhealthy. Like, really creepy and weird," read one comment. "Mary is so fake/plastic and she is trying to make her daughter that way it’s not healthy," said another.

"Woaaahhhhhhh Mary, you don't announce 'happy birthday, I'm paying for your tummy tuck' in front of the entire party. This girl went home and cried... I'm sure," a third commented.

'sMothered' airs on Sundays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
