DEADPOOL STRIKES BACK! Ryan Reynolds' hilarious message to Hugh Jackman as he trains for 'Wolverine' body
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: As Marvel Studio is gearing up to roll their camera for the third installment of ‘Deadpool’, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, who will reprise his role as Wolverine, have taken their internet banter to a new height. Reynolds, a good friend of Jackman, who has convinced Jackman to take the mantle of his iconic character back, is now "keeping up" with the Wolverine actor in his training.
Jackman is often seen sharing his exercise routines and diet that he is following to bulk up for his comeback role in the franchise. More often than not, the two friends tag each other in their preparatory posts. Similarly, as a reply to ‘Logan’ actor Jackman’s "becoming wolverine again" post, Ryan Reynolds posted a picture of himself in his gray gym wear with a fun caption, “Keeping Up With The Jackmans."

‘But it’s not a competition’
The stars are often seen tagging each other in their posts. In January too, Reynolds posted a video with the caption, "For Hugh-r consideration."
In February, Jackman then took a friendly dig at Reynolds. Without naming the eponymous 46-year-old ‘Deadpool’ star, he posted a photo of his weight training with the caption, “He’s only 46. I’m older. But it’s not a competition." The post also garnered him a like from Reynolds. However, it waged the internet war as the two stars are uploading pictures and videos of them training since then, often while tagging each other.
‘Iron sharpens iron’
Fans quipped in the friendly battle the stars seem to be enjoying with many choosing their side. One fan encouraged, “Shaping up that Deadpool body! 💪🏾” While another added a sarcastic comment, “You're just eating donuts and wearing a muscle suit, aren't you?”
Referring to Jackman’s series of posts where he can be seen undergoing rigorous training, one social media user commented, “Somewhere Hugh says "barely."” “8,000 calories he’s doing a day. Where you at?”, questioned another. Some fans even took a hilarious dig at the actor for not using the equipment, “You actually have to use the equipment…” and other commented dryly, “I don’t see you doing a cold plung."
“DP3 is just gonna be you two trying to out un-alive each other?! Who can un-alive themselves first?” asked a curious fan. While some of the Jackman’s fans were spotted too as they chirped in saying, “Can’t believe we’re getting the Huge Jackman back,❤️” while another user wrote, “You can try, but the Jackmans got it all over you. 😂”
