Hugh Jackman reveals 10,000-calorie daily meal plan he followed to prepare for his role as Wolverine in 'Deadpool 3'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Hugh Jackman shared his daily meal plan on Instagram as he bulks up for his role in 'Deadpool 3'. The actor posted a photo of six meals that he will consume in a day, with each meal having a calorie count ranging from 1100 to 2100 calories. Jackman thanked Chef Mario for helping him stay healthy and properly fed while he becomes Wolverine again. Jackman's daily meal plan consists of high-calorie foods like black bass (2,000 calories), Patagonia salmon (2,100 calories), two chicken burgers (about 1,000 calories each), and two grass-fed sirloins (1,100 calories each).
Men usually require 2500 calories a day to maintain their weight, indicating that Jackman is gearing up to pack on the muscle for the iconic comic book character. Assuming this is Jackman's complete daily meal plan for his Wolverine role preparation, his calorie intake could reach close to 10,000. With such an extreme diet, fans might witness a highly muscular version of the beloved mutant character in 'Deadpool 3'.

"HUGE JACKEDman"
Jackman's 31 million followers were thrilled and expressed their excitement in the comments section. One fan appreciated his effort to reprise his role as Wolverine, while another joked about him becoming "HUGE JACKEDman". A user was surprised by his high-calorie diet, saying it's double their daily intake, "Bro I am bulking too but that like double my everyday calories wtf man." Previous workout routine
Jackman's diet and fitness regimen have been carefully curated by different personal trainers throughout his career. David Kingsbury, who worked with Jackman for movies such as 'The Wolverine' and 'Logan,' implemented carb cycling, calculating calories and macronutrients, and clean eating with wholesome foods like sweet potatoes, brown rice, and chicken. Kingsbury also emphasized progressive overload, gradually increasing the amount of weight lifted during training for continued strength gains. Jackman's Wolverine workouts included barbell bench presses, weighted pull-ups, and deadlifts. Despite the rigorous physical preparation required to play Wolverine, Jackman has always maintained that he never resorted to using steroids to build muscle. In a January interview on HBO's 'Who's Talking to Chris Wallace,' the actor explained that while the process was grueling, he always stayed away from performance-enhancing steroids.
Fans awaiting Deadpool 3
Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in the upcoming Marvel Studios film 'Deadpool 3', directed by Shawn Levy. This marks Jackman's return as the iconic mutant since his last portrayal of the character in 2017's 'Logan'. While specific plot details remain tightly under wraps, Jackman and Reynolds have teased that the film will feature plenty of their trademark banter. The movie is set to hit theaters on November 8th and is eagerly awaited by fans.
